To prioritize the safety and wellness of our community and in keeping with the campus response to the COVID-19 virus, we have decided to close the pantry Tuesday, March 10 through Sunday, March 29 to minimize contact between people as well as with the food we distribute.

We will be monitoring the situation closely in these next few weeks and will move in alignment with public health and campus decisions. We want to acknowledge that COVID-19 may have an impact on students’ basic needs, and we will continue to provide services through the outbreak, whether they are remote or accessible in different ways. Our goal is to support students and ensure that everyone can get the help that they need.

Other resources for food accessibility during this time as well as real-time decisions about Pantry and Basic Needs Center decisions are available on the BNC’s COVID-19 living document:

If the main entrance is closed, you may still access the Pantry by taking the elevator inside MLK to level “B” and following the signs!
